We work with adults too!
Occupational therapy embraces the principles of neurodiversity by recognizing and celebrating the unique abilities of individuals with diverse neurological profiles.
Through client-oriented and strength-based approach, we can provide a range of services that empower neurodiverse adults to navigate daily challenges, build meaningful connections, and lead fulfilling lives.
By emphasizing inclusion and addressing individual needs, our goal is to contribute significantly to enhancing the overall quality of life for neurodiverse individuals.

Here are some areas we can support individuals with neurological differences:
Sensory integration and regulation
Employ sensory integration techniques to help regulate and manage sensory sensitivities. This can include activities to enhance sensory awareness and strategies to adapt to different environments.
Executive function support
Work collaboratively with clients to develop strategies, routines, and tools that enhance executive function skills such as planning, organization and time management
Cognitive behavioural strategies
Help individuals recognize and modify unproductive thought patterns and behaviors. This may involve teaching mindfulness techniques, self-monitoring, and positive reinforcement.
Environmental modifications
Assist clients in creating supportive environments that facilitate task completion. This may involve organizing workspaces, implementing visual cues, and establishing routines to reduce distractions.
